Pastor Keith L. Green

Pastor Keith Lamont Green - Husband, Father, Pastor, Teacher, and Psalmist, is known for his effective teaching and preaching the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ, delivering the bound and equipping believers.

Since his early ages, Pastor Green has expressed his gifts in singing and playing musical instruments to the glory of God. But in June 1999, he accepted the Call from the Lord to preach the Gospel and was licensed by his grandfather, the late pastor and founder, Rev. Dr. B.A. Dawkins and the Progressive First Baptist Church family. On October 29, 2003, Rev. Green was called to pastor the ministry. On April 18, 2004, Pastor Green was ordained by Rev. Dr. Elmore E. Warren, Jr., as a minister of the Gospel and Pastor of Progressive First Baptist Church.

Pastor Green was educated in the Baltimore County School System and is an alumnus of Randallstown High School. He has attended Catonsville Community College and Arlington Bible College where he has earned his Associates degree in Biblical Studies.

Pastor Green leads Progressive with the purpose to "Advance the Kingdom through the Word of God " by preaching and teaching the Progressive Family how to apply the fundamental five purposes of the Church - Evangelize, Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, and Ministry - Acts 2:42-47. Under the leadership of Pastor Green, Progressive members are equipped, engaged, and empowered to build up one another and are excited about serving Christ. This is made evident through the growth of members participating in Groups Discipleships which include the Seniors and Youth Ministries, as well as the work of Progressive's powerful community outreach ministries such as God's Pantry for Food & Clothing, Door-to-Door Outreach & Evangelism.

Pastor Green is married to the former Cinnamon Jordan and they have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Epiphany Kayci and Jordan ElleMarie.
